Subvert Therapy LLC was born from Rachel's perspective as an abolitionist therapist. She aims to challenge the carceral and harmful ways mental health has traditionally been approached and to help clients cultivate a sense of safety within themselves and their communities. Rachel believes that the systems we live in contribute significantly to human suffering. Rather than viewing distress as something inherently wrong within an individual, she understands many struggles as natural human responses to an unjust world.

Rachel is a European-American, cisgender, bisexual, polyam, and able-bodied individual. She believes antiracism is a lifelong actionable journey, and is committed to engaging in this work. Rachel is passionate about working with individuals in the Queer community. She works with substance use, trauma, religious abuse, polyamory, kink, exploring gender identity, coming out, and transitions of life and community. |
